Since NPSA's inception back in 2016, we've been tasked with telling some incredible stories. Behind those stories, of course, are incredible people, and that's what has made this mission a thorough joy.

You meet students and educators who reinforce your very purpose, and that's invigorating. As a writer, it's motivating. And as a writer, you really can't ask for anything more.

Kevin Wingard is one of those educators, and following an impactful career in school administration we are so excited to announce the former Milford Public Schools superintendent as the next NCSA Ambassador.

Wingard assumed his new position on July 1, and will look to hit the ground running for the 2024/25 school year. He's excited to carry on NCSA's advocacy efforts, and believes the foundation set by Dr. Keith Rohwer and Dr. Cinde Wendell, who both retired after eight years as ambassadors earlier this summer, will help him transition seamlessly.
